Architectural design of the Farmer's Fair facility
In 2017, VDS was tasked with the development and construction of an attractive architectural object with the option to scale the network in places with high traffic in the shortest possible time.
On June 14, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin opened an all-season farmers market on Semenovskaya Square. The completion of the project took 120 days - from the first working day at the site to the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Today, the farmers market on Semenovskaya - a boutique of farm goods - is an example of a new format of market trade in Moscow.
The period of construction of the object
The prefabricated type of building allowed us to eliminate so-called “wet” processes, in particular in the foundation. In fact, the construction was replaced by assembly and erection on installation work standards and norms, which favorably affected the timing.
At this rate, dozens of pre-fabricated buildings can be implemented annually.
The concept of zoning
The residents of the capital consider the Farmer's Fair on Semenovskaya Street not only as an object of trade, but also a platform for city festivities, holidays and festivals.
The absolute market success of the project
The interregional market on Semenovskaya is an example of a successfully implemented non-capital non-stationary object of year-round use of new qualitative market trade level.
