Light arches in Moscow 2017/2023

In 2017, the VDS team implemented a project for the integrated design of Moscow based on light architectural compositions and installations. Today, VDS installations still occupy a central place in the New Year's lighting design of the capital.
Moscow Deputy Mayor Pyotr Biryukov said that every year the same installations are installed in Moscow as last season — this once again proves the durability and reliability of VDS production structures. The structural basis of the VDS light arches allows for visual updating of the arches, changing the decor, pattern and color without making changes to the structure itself. This year, some of the arches were technically updated – the replacement of light bulbs was carried out, allowing you to adjust the intensity of lighting.
The main criteria for the development of a project for the integrated design of a city based on light architectural compositions and installations are safety, durability and modularity of structures.
The element base of the VDS Company is represented by various types of structures, the creation of which provides a margin of safety for multiple installations, disassembly and transportation. The system is quickly and easily transformed for specific design tasks.
The corrosion protection of the metal frame, made by hot-dip galvanizing, the interchangeability of elements and consideration of wind loads guarantee efficient operation of structures for 10 years, and a temporary foundation allows you to eliminate stretch marks.
After a 10-year cycle, the products are recycled and licensed for careful disposal in accordance with the principles of ESG.
