The process of delivery and acceptance of the "Dome over the Citadel" in the city of Turkestan, implemented by the VDS turnkey Team, has started.
Our team has solved a very difficult and interesting engineering problem. Only 14 months have passed since the signing of the contract to the implementation of the project. During this time, a lot of work has been done on the design, production and installation of such a large-scale structure.
Produced and mounted:
— three domes with a diameter of 60m, one with a diameter of 45m;
— 30 thousand frame elements weighing more than 500 tons;
— more than 11,000 m2 of awning.
The installation was carried out over existing historical excavations with an area of 10,000 m2, which required careful engineering training.
