Shade canopies “Rotunda” in the 7 gardens Park
On August 12, 2022 in Astana the grand opening of the largest in Kazakhstan and Central Asia Muslim mosque took place.
The opening ceremony was attended by the first president of Kazakhstan - President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Around the mosque there is a 7 Gardens Park, which has become a new point of attraction for citizens and guests of the city. The park of more than 250 hectares includes classic, apple, cherry, wild orchards and a lilac garden, a pine forest and a birch grove.
For a comfortable stay in the park are located 300 meters long fountain with interesting small architectural forms and all sorts of shade canopies in the oriental style.

For such a large-scale project VDS Company worked on the creation of small architectural forms: «Trees» — large and small shade canopies, rotundas and warm stops, which became a real decoration of the park.
The «Trees» on the central avenue are synchronized with the light rhythm of illumination and musical accompaniment of the fountain.
Project implementation
Work on the sketching and design of parametric canopies was started by VDS in 2021.
In the spring of 2022, VDS Factory began production of shade trees and stops, and in July, specialists from Belarus and Kazakhstan completed the installation phase, which took 2 months.
In total, VDS Company produced 19 large, 12 small shade canopies and 4 warm stops as part of the project.
