Festive decoration of the central office of LUKOIL-PERM LLC
During the 2017 New Year and Christmas holidays, as part of the project to modernize the appearance of the head office of LUKOIL-PERM LLC, VDS developed
and implemented a comprehensive solution for the festive decoration of the facility.
For the past 5 years, the installation and dismantling of architectural structures has been successfully carried out at the main sites of the city due to the multiple turnover of installations.
The multi-axis Arch connects the worlds and passes through itself. Asymmetry, themes of fantastic animals, the fusion of human, animal and vegetable appear in dynamics full of energy. An angel in the style of "Perm Orthodox carving" crowns the world with the joy of Christmas. Stylized images of people and mythical animals embodied in free-standing objects around the arches make the idea of the installation complete.
Development and idea of an art installation
The concept of the installation is based on the folk ornament of Perm, based on the archetypal heritage of the ancient "Animal Style". This symbolism, bionics and natural plastics have acquired a special meaning and relevance in the year of Ecology.
Changing the thematic ornament
The design of the products provides for the possibility of replacing the thematic ornaments on the arches with the change of the season of the year.
Current technologies and the perfection of designs connect symbolic forms with modernity and the strategy of the future.
Record installation time
The installation work was carried out in extreme weather conditions — frost reached -38 degrees and was completed in a short time — it took only 14 days to fully assemble all the lighting structures and figures provided for by the project.
Industrial climbers were involved to install the illumination of the facade of the office building.
Social response
The object attracted the attention of Perm residents and guests of the city and received wide coverage in the media and social networks.
The New Year's decoration of the LUKOIL-PERM office was recognized as the best in the capital of the Kama region in the nomination "Industrial enterprises with a thousand or more employees".
