Designing a flower pavilion
Kazflor, a wholesale and retail flower importer, planned to introduce an innovative European approach to the flower retail market by setting up a network of flower shops in the central areas of the capital of Kazakhstan. To tackle this task, VDS brought in a leading business expert from the European floral industry.

The business model.
The business model proposed by VDS was a “flower boutique”. The main idea was to combine European customer service, basic floral industry standards, including so-called “Euro-bouquets”, the provision of related goods and services with Eastern traditions in the interior and exterior design of the shop (kiosk) in a way that fits naturally the urban environment of Astana.
